Spain's El Niño Lottery draw takes place on Wednesday 6 January 2027, Epiphany (Three Kings' Day). A ticket share (décimo) costs €20 and the first prize pays €200,000 per décimo. It's the draw where the most numbers win something: more than 1 in 3 gets at least a refund. Buy online at Serviloto, official Lottery Office no. 40 in Málaga, with no commission and your ticket held safely.
If Christmas didn't bring luck, El Niño is your rematch. Its top prizes are smaller, but it pays 37,920 prizes per series (70% of sales) thanks to its ending-digit draws and three refunds instead of one, so it's much easier to at least get your money back. It's also the perfect Three Kings' Day gift.
On Wednesday 6 January 2027 at 12:00 noon (Spanish time), at the Loterías y Apuestas del Estado draw hall in Madrid, broadcast live on TV. It's much shorter than the Christmas draw: prizes are drawn from several drums and it lasts about half an hour. Ticket sales close on 5 January, so don't leave it to the last minute: the most popular numbers go fast between Christmas and Epiphany.
